✅The course is perfect for teenagers as well as for adults – I've used it with 15 to 60+ students, and every one of them loved it😍. Not only is it very helpful for beginners but also for people who have been studying for a while, still struggling with listening and speaking.
✅Each 3-minute episode contains a lot of basic everyday vocabulary and is devoted to a specific topic (meeting new people, cleaning a house, cooking, clothes, etc.), so you can also use them separately, for instance, as warm-up. But from my experience, everyone is eager to know what happens next.
✅The central character’s English is far from perfect but it doesn’t stop Leo from communicating quite successfully in various everyday situations. Not without making embarrassing mistakes from time to time, though. This is motivational for students who are afraid of speaking because “what if I make a mistake?”
✅Each worksheet includes:
1️⃣watching for gist (without subtitles) + answering questions
2️⃣ watching with subtitles to check the answers
3️⃣working with collocations (preparing for 4️⃣)
4️⃣retelling the episode (with the collocations from 3️⃣)
5️⃣working with dialogues (RUS→ENG translating, practicing with a partner)
